THE FASTLANE PROGRAM

Fastlane is a tailormade program for impact-driven Food & Agri pioneers to prepare companies for their next financing round. The program is a co-production of Invest-NL and Foodvalley NL that both have the mission to support the growth of groundbreaking innovation in the food chain. The aim of the program is to accelerate the food transition by supporting promising early stage companies to grow their business and to raise funding . Companies receive support from a multidisciplinary team of experts to work on company-specific challenges. They gain access to a community of alumni, peers and industry experts and have the opportunity to build lasting connections with investors and corporates, as part od the Fastlane community. Last year, the first two successful editions of Fastlane have taken place in which ten innovative food & ag companies joined the program. THE ASSIGNMENT

To manage the Fastlane program, Invest-NL is looking for a Program Manager for 16 hours a week, who will be primarily responsible for the implementation and further development of the program.

The tasks and responsibilities have an internal and external component:

• Internal: Mainly responsible for the implementation of the program
• Monitor the objectives of the program and report on the growth of the companies
• Share best practices with the to the steering committee, Foodvalley NL and Invest-NL, to improve program design and execution
• External: Coordinating different stakeholders and program components
• Act as point of contact for clients, ventures, and (venture) partners
• Implementing the various parts of the program in consultation with Foodvalley NL and Invest-NL
• Collaboratively work on improvements for the program and the methodology
• Explore opportunities to safeguard the knowledge gained within the ecosystem
• Check-in with the companies to support them with their progress (bi-weekly check-in)

In addition to these tasks, you act as the Partnership manager and work on:

• Setting up a partnership strategy and presenting this to the steering committee
• Attracting new (international) partners
• Act as the point of contact for existing partners and involve partners in the program
• Build out the multi-disciplinary group of experts

Your tasks can possibly be shared in the future with new members of the program team, such as a Program Support employee or a Partnership Manager. This will be decided in consultation with the Program Manager.

CV REQUIREMENTS

To be eligible for this role, your CV must contain at least the following points:

• Demonstrable academic work/think level
• Extensive experience as a program manager
• Preferably industry knowledge of the Food and Agricultural ecosystem
• Experience with start-ups and/or scale-ups, preferably in the Food and Agri sector

You are available from the 1st of September onwards for 2 days (16 hours) a week.

The assignment is for 6 months, with the option to extend this.
