You will be working in a team that is divided over Breda and Munich. The biggest part of the team is located in Breda, what would be your main location. All the support is done remotely, but occasionally it’s necessary to travel to Munich. The team works in a DevOps mentality, but also has close connections to its internal customers in a community style.
The functional steering is done by BMW ( located in Munich, Germany) and the disciplinary steering is done by Alphabet (located in Breda, the Netherlands).
You would be supporting the DBaaS solution build team with the external provider steering and 3rd level support for BMW internal customers all over the world.
The core activities are;
o Support operations team and provider in analysis of incidents and problems
o Documentation of results
o Create and perform tests of new components, settings, concepts
o Documentation of test results
o Create and maintain support scripts for reporting, monitoring and troubleshooting
Education level : Higher vocational education (HBO)
Experience mandatory : > provider steering
> Database preferably PostgreSQL
Experience optional : > Linux
> PaaS/Container Stack (Docker)
> OpenStack
Languages:
English : Very good on a professional level, both written and spoken
German : Able to fully understand written and spoken communication

40 hours per week assignment where the starting date is ASAP. The contract is for long term until 28th of February 2020. Rates are negotiable.
